Career
ZoomInfo
I was the Data Enablement Lead, Revenue Enablement for ZoomInfo’s data and data products supporting a large Go-to-Market (GTM) team of account managers, account executives, customer success & customer experience managers, solutions consultants, and more. I frequently partnered with internal sales and technical teams to develop highly engaging training content such as the award-winning modular DaaS 101 bootcamp that was associated with a 40% uplift in our Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) products.
Notable work products: - DaaS 101 (DaaS Sales Strategy, APIs, Data Cubes) - Leveraging Data Services Intelligence; DevPortal - Introduction to RingLead; GTM Intelligence Platform - GTM Studio 201 - ZoomInfo Data: Origins, Processes, and Value - ZoomInfo Data: Objection Handling in Data Solution Sales
MIT
I consulted for MIT to create, develop, and deliver data science content for the Program in Data Science offered through the Universidad Tecnólogica (UTEC, Uruguay) which leveraged the MITx MicroMasters Program in Statistics and Data Science. Courses: 6.431x “Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data” and 14.310x “Data Analysis for Social Scientists”
I created the creative lesson “Didgeridata” blending world music, hands-on invention, and climate data studies for the MIT pK-12 STEAM Camp, an international K-12 education program hosted by the Chinese International School in Hong Kong. This lesson was internally adopted by MIT for the Full STEAM Ahead program. This program was deployed (by me) in New York City and then later by MIT colleagues in China and at MIT for downstream Full Steam Ahead workshops.
Carnegie Mellon University
Led the instructional design for the AI for Business course which was a joint production of the Tepper School of Business and the Department of Computer Science Executive Education program. Led a small team of instructional designers and collaborated with 30+ faculty and several administrators to establish the foundational design for a four-pillar, 16-module program. Collaborated with media personnel to ensure content was recorded and delivered to a partnering production contractor.
Emeritus.org
I worked as a Data Instructional Designer for Emeritus for several years and later as an instructor for two courses. I also contributed to a modular professional certificate as faculty for a data visualization track.

Biobuilder.org
I worked as a consultant to create and deliver Data Analysis and Visualization instruction for a bioengineering program for international students
Ziplines Education
I worked as a consultant on several courses: Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, SQL
FSU Learning Systems Institute
I was a key team member at Florida State University’s Learning System Institute where I led and managed projects and programs including:
CPALMS Perspectives: a collection of 400+ short-format documentary videos featuring experts, educators, and practitioners speaking about math and science topics. Collaborated with an internal video production team to bring this to life from scratch. Developed a statewide network of contributing subject matter experts, coordinated logistics, established the content vision for the program, and produced training content to enable teachers and school district personnel to leverage this content for teacher professional development and classroom use.
3D printing: Pioneered 3D printing for K-12 classroom use. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, developed 50+ models and associated curriculum along with professional development training programs. Our work eventually spun out as mystemkits.com.
Diversity & Ecology Workshops: I led two summer programs for statewide teacher professional development focused on ecological methodology. I coordinated a small team including a university professor, a field biologist, and several classroom teachers. Extended existing training content to include a focus on data science in the classroom. Introduced teachers to open-source data analysis tools and provided guided instruction for end-to-end field science projects.
Education
I completed my PhD in Technology at Purdue University where I completed research on video game players and spatial ability. I developed a novel taxonomy for characterizing video games based on visual-spatial features and then had several hundred respondents describe their most-played games and complete several spatial ability tests. I used machine learning analysis techniques to group respondents by game type and then analyzed their spatial ability performance by group and gender.
I completed my second Master’s degree in Technology at Purdue University where I researched interactive computer graphics, virtual reality, and learning in dynamic virtual environments. I created a novel VR environment and explored how learning could take place withing such an environment.
I completed my first Master’s degree in Horticulture at Purdue University where I studied the genetic response of plants to touch. My model system was soybeans that I grew in a dark room to isolate non-photosynthetic development.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Henderson State University and completed independent genetics research on aquatic invertebrates.
